Bernice Wong, a girl who grew up to love sand art. Hailing from Ipoh, Perak, Bernice was born in 1985 and as a child, she would spend hours being engrossed in drawing. Unlike other kids who plays with Barbie and other toys, a blank canvas was the ideal "toy" for Bernice. Her love for art took a turn in 2011 where Bernice fell in love with what is known as sand art. The interest which later turned into passion led to Bernice studying the intricate techniques and practice to bring still images to life, all through the usage of sand and technology. Bernice took in shows and constantly improve herself in the art of sand manipulation. When Bernice puts on a show, members of the audience will be able to see the passion that lies within and her understanding of the way sand works. Many of Bernice's works have been acknowledged and acclaimed by some of her biggest clients such as the Penang Governor, Penang Chief Minister and various other multinational corporations.
